Ansager
Ansager is located on Jutland. The distance to Billund is approximately 35 km. Other nearby places are: Varde, Grindsted and Esbjerg
Ansager is located in a beautiful forest like area. There are several walking routes and the area is easy to discover by bicycle. There is also a mountain bike track in the forest.
Ansager is a village with about 2000 inhabitants. There are several shops, such as bakery, 2 supermarkets, butcher, clothing store, pizzaria etc.
A beautiful white church can be found in the center of the village.
The farm is within walking distance of the village.
A beautiful stream flows through Ansager. Canoes can be rented in the village and it is worth a try!
You can also fish in the stream for trout and there is even salmon in the stream. A fishing license must be purchased at the post office in the village.
Kvie So
2½ km from the village is Kvie Sø, a beautiful nature reserve with a beautiful lake. Summers are great for swimming here. There is a playground and a pancake restaurant.
There can also be nicely walked there.

Givskud Zoo
At Givskud Zoo you can experience many different animal species. Almost a third of these species are endangered in the wild and are therefore part of an important international breeding program with zoos around the world
It is the only place in Denmark where you can see gorillas, the extremely rare African bongo antelope and the South American giant otters. And of course the great pride of the park: the lions!

North Sea beach and surroundings
The Distance to the North Sea beach is about 35 km. This is the longest sandy beach in Denmark.
In Vejers you can drive by car on the beach.
The islands of Rømø and Fanø are approximately 40 km away.
